Terms of Service

Muse (usemuse.dev)
Effective Date: July 2, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Muse ("the Service"), operated by Faiz Khan ("I", "me", or "my"), located in Georgia, United States. By accessing usemuse.dev or joining the Muse waitlist, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Muse is a platform that allows developers to monitor and control their workstation and deployed projects remotely via a mobile web application and a locally installed desktop agent. During the current waitlist phase, the Service is limited to collecting your email address to notify you when Muse becomes available.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using Muse, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Muse on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Waitlist

By submitting your email address to the Muse waitlist, you agree to receive updates about Muse's development and launch. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting me at the email listed in Section 12. I will not sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Muse to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Access systems, accounts, or data you do not have authorization to access
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service to harm, harass, or defraud others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Service

You are solely responsible for all actions taken through your Muse account and any connected integrations (GitHub, Supabase, Vercel, or others). Muse executes actions on your behalf — you are responsible for the consequences of those actions on your own systems.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Muse connects to third-party services including but not limited to GitHub, Supabase, and Vercel. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. I am not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect those services to Muse and for safeguarding the credentials you provide.

6. Credentials and Security

When you use the full Muse product (post-launch), any API keys, tokens, or credentials you configure are stored locally on your own machine within the Muse Agent. They are never transmitted to or stored on Muse servers. You are responsible for keeping your machine secure and for rotating credentials if you believe they have been compromised.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials associated with Muse are the property of Faiz Khan. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

Your data remains yours. I claim no ownership over any code, database content, or project files that Muse accesses on your behalf.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use Muse at your own risk.

Given that Muse can execute real actions on your systems — deleting rows, committing code, triggering deployments — I strongly recommend testing all functionality in non-production environments before using Muse on live systems.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Faiz Khan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss, system damage, or unauthorized access resulting from use of Muse.

10. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. If I make material changes, I will notify waitlist members by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
